Netscape and MS own the souls of loads of serious computer scientists, who are well capable of dealing with DSSSL. Whether they are _allowed_ to by their managers is an issue, but I find it hard to credit that you'll sneak a wolf into Bill Gates house by throwing a small sheepskin rug over it.
