Subject: XSL (process-children-trim) From: "Glenn R. Kronschnabl" <grk@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Tue, 13 Jan 1998 12:16:29 -0600 |
I posted something to xml-dev about nested lists, and this is probably a better place to post, BUT, I think I have the right question now: Using Jade and DSSSL, one can employ (process-children-trim) which discards extra whitespace/newlines instead of just (process-children). Turns out this was the problem - in a nested list, you MUST use (process-children-trim) or extra newlines get output. Q: Is there such a directive in XSL - if so what is it? Q: Does there need to be? Or, is this just a ramification of using xslj->jade->rtf If anyone wants more info, just e-mail. I have a simple nested list example with and without the -trim option and the problem shows up beautifully. Cheers, Glenn -------------------- Glenn R.
