Jade is programmed in standard C++ and should compile anywhere a C++
compiler (especially GCC) is available. You can't get a lot more
portable than that. I believe that Copernican solutions is also
developing a DSSSL implementation that runs on the Java Virtual Machine.
But I think that GCC is currently more portable than the JVM.
