An initial essay will be available at <URL:http://www.oreilly.com/people/staff/crism/html40.dsl> after midnight tonight (0400 GMT). It has some limitations: ;; DSSSL stylesheet for HTML 4.0 (97-09-17 draft) tables ;; created for the W3C XML WG by Christopher R. Maden ;; (crism@xxxxxxxxxxx) ;; assumes only LTR content and single tbodys ;; assumes that specifications are in pixels, and can be converted to ;; pts 1-to-1 ;; doesn't set column-number properly in the case of vertical spans ;; doesn't handle cellpadding ;; doesn't get align and valign from <col> or <colgroup> ;; incorrectly gets width from <table> if not set on <col> Thanks to Henry Thompson for (* number 1pt) - I completely spaced on that. Updates will be made available as the stylesheet is improved. -Chris -- <!NOTATION SGML.Geek PUBLIC "-//Anonymous//NOTATION SGML Geek//EN"> <!ENTITY crism PUBLIC "-//O'Reilly//NONSGML Christopher R.
