Let me start with a little clarification: the DSSSL spec is much like the SGML spec in that it has many optional features. You could almost consider the style and transformation languages to be optional features because you do not have to implement one in order to implement the other. I expect a "full" DSSSL implementation (e.g. one with all optional features) soon after I see a complete SGML/HyTime implementation (using the same definition of "full"), which is to say I wouldn't hold my breath. Henry has mentioned his implementation of the trans. lang. (I'm salivating over here). Watch also for something from Alex at Copernican Solutions. He's a smart guy and he has made many transformation language rumblings. Paul Prescod DSSSList info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/dsssl/dssslist
