Subject: Help: Scanning non-SGML files From: Chris Maden <crism@xxxxxxx> Date: Wed, 7 Jan 1998 13:54:45 -0500 |
I'm at one of the last frontiers of my SGML->MIF conversion: figures. I've got everything set, except that the Frame ShapeRect has to be sized manually in FrameMaker after conversion. I'd like to create a ShapeRect with the right dimensions in the conversion process. The graphics in question are EPS, and include a %%BoundingBox comment. If I can parse the graphics, I could get the necessary information, but I can't find a way to either scan the graphics directly (which I didn't expect), or to launch an auxiliary process to return a value (which I did). Thanks in advance for any help. I'll be posting the stylesheets on my Web page as soon as I've modularized them (right now, they're hardcoded for the O'Reilly "in a Nutshell" template). -Chris -- <!NOTATION SGML.Geek PUBLIC "-//Anonymous//NOTATION SGML Geek//EN"> <!ENTITY crism PUBLIC "-//O'Reilly//NONSGML Christopher R.
