Subject: Columns in Norm's DocBook Stylesheets? From: "Kendall G. Clark" <kendall@xxxxxxxxxx> Date: Tue, 24 Feb 1998 16:31:26 -0600 (CST) |
Norm, et. al., There doesn't appear to be support for columns yet in Norm Walsh's DocBook Stylesheets. Or, I should say, I can't find any place to define columns. Can someone point me in the right direction? Norm, if there isn't any support for columns yet, do you have any interest in that? Is anyone else wanting to use columns in DocBook documents? I'd be really happy with something relatively basic (as a default) like: ------------ |1| | | | | | | 2 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | ------------ Column 1 for callouts, highlights, warnings, admonitions, etc, and Column 2 the 'main' text flow. I read about columns in the DSSSL spec until my head hurt, and it didn't get very clear. Is it just me or this fairly complex?
