Jade does implement the query language; it's the transformation language that is not supported. However, Jade supports a number of very useful extensions to the standard that make if a very powerful tool for transformations anyway. These extensions are only documented AFIK in the documentation for Jade, and that documentation tends to be reference material, not tutorials. SDQL is in chapter 10 of the standard. Also, note that Jade natively implements only a subset of the query language; those SDQL functions it doesn't implement must be implemented in DSSSL. So if you get an error running a query function it just means you have to code it yourself. Fortunately sample code is included in the standard. DSSSL-Online is a subset of the style language. > -----Original Message----- > From: Jason Williams [SMTP:jwilliams@xxxxxxxxxxx] > Sent: Thursday, April 09, 1998 4:02 PM > To: 'DSSSList@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx' > Subject: some basic questions > ... .
