I'd like to add my 2 cents.

* request feature (HTML only)
  to have configurable (via porcessing instruction?)
  nav-banner which could serve as a href to some known place
  i.e. homepage or like

* request feature (PRINT only?)
  to have an option to make standalone ARTICLE with
  front page, connaining annotation and optionally TOC
