Hmm ... I'm still not satisfied:) We have: 12.6.27.7 If there are conflicting borders of equal priority one from a table-border and one from a cell-border, the one from the table-border should win. If there are conflicting borders of equal priority, one with border-present?: #t and one with border-present?: #f, the one with border-present?: #t should win. And now cosider this: <table> <table.before-column-border border-present="false"/> ... <table-cell column-number="1" ...> <table-cell.before-column-border border-present="true"/> ... .... both these rules can be applied to this example, and depending on which rule will be applied one will get different results. Which rule has higher priority? Kathleen DSSSList info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/dsssl/dssslist
