I dig a little digging around and found that Glenn Reid, author of Adobe's "Postscript Language Program Design" (a/k/a The Green Book) has generously made the full text of his 1990 book "Thinking in Postscript" available for download in PDF format. I haven't yet read it, but according to the blurb he wrote it partially because he found in teaching PS that people tend to try to make PS "look like" other languages they already knew (C I suppose). It's at http://www.rightbrain.com/pages/books.html DSSSList info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/dsssl/dssslist
