Norman Walsh wrote: >>Has anyone got this built on NT with the MS compilers? (Have I told you recently how much I miss my UNIX box?)<< Norman-- I asked a similar question about a week ago, because it really won't compile on NT. Sebastian suggested to ask Kathleen Marszalek <kmarszal@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>. I sent her the following note but didn't hear a response yet. --forwarded-- Kathleen-- Sebastian Rahtz told me that you recently compiled the unofficial releases of Jade with Sebastians patches on a NT machine. I tried the sources from http://tug.org/applications/jadetex, but neither MSVC++ 4.2 nor 5.0 (NT4) would accept sp.mak or jade.mak as a valid makefile. These files don't look obviously corrupted to me, so I can't figure out why they don't work. Then I tried the sources from ftp://ftp.cygnus.com/pub/home/rosalia/docware/. They compiled on VC++ 4.2 except for groveoa.dll. Did you successfully compile either of these sources? Do you have a different set of sources which compiles on NT? --/forwarded-- Best wishes Markus _________________________ Dr. Markus Hoenicka DLR Inst.
