Isn't it possible to replace the space between "page" and the page number with oa Non-breakable space? Or is this to simple? :-) Aad -----Original Message----- From: Pawson, David [SMTP:DPawson@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, January 19, 1999 9:57 AM To: dssslist@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: line breaks in rtf backend. In formatting a toc entry, I have long lines. e.g a long line of text which nearly comes up against the page reference ......page 67 Another example long line of text which nearly comes up against the page reference ......................................................................page 68 If I figure out where the line break has to go (using proportional font tables), what entity should I insert in the sgml to obtain a soft line break in the rtf output? I need that since the space-after is quite large and it 'don't look right' with a para spacing. any help appreciated. regards, DaveP DSSSList info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/dsssl/dssslist DSSSList info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/dsssl/dssslist
