Hi all,
Nice that this is mentioned. I looked at EditPlus and was very tempted, but
up till now I didn't forsake my text editor: UltraEdit, also an excellent
product. Its GUI looks a bit less modern, but it has excellent features such
as file compare, search & replace through multiple files (without having to
open them), ability to configure & launch external tools, a floating tab bar
with as many tabs as necessary, and customizable syntax highlighting.

Didier, EditPlus also has syntax highlighting, right? Did you by any chance
add syntax highlighting for DSSSL? I did for UltraEdit, but it's much too
limited since I don't know all the flows, functions, etc. Does anyone have a
syntax highlighting file for DSSSL?

Could you explain how you configured EditPlus to work with the SGMLkit?
Because I would like very much to try it out!

Hi,

I tought that maybe others would be interrested by a tool I am using to
create and debug my dsssl script. It is called EditPlus and is downloadable
from: http://www.editplus.com

Important features of this tool are:
- you can edit XML,SGML and DSSSL file (no DTD validations or tag insertion
but text editing with line numbers indicated. important for debugging a
dsssl style)
- You can, in the same environement see your XML/SGML document, your style
sheet and the result just by clicking a tab. (nice hey?)
- Work seamlessly with the SGMLKit even without the Document Explorer.

For current SGMLKit user and future one, try this tool and you would be kind
to give me feedback about it. If possible in this list so that we can all
share our impression on this. When I started using this tool, my DSSSL bug
resolution rate increased tremendously!
