Minimal hacking can get Jade to do that - just write a 'shared library
backend' which forwards all backend calls (FotBuilder, is there anything
else?) to a shared/DL library named on the command line. From there it's
easy to go on to CORBA/COM (as shared library adapters) or whatever.
