Kuba, for what it's worth ...
When I first started working with Jade, I was running it on Unix and then
importing the RTF into Windows via a share.  My image file was then actually
a copy of the original, and scaling didn't work.  Since I've been running
the PC version of Jade, with all files resident, scaling has worked fine.
