Hi Karl, Karl said: -------------------------------------------------- Now, the packages are available at: /ftp@xxxxxxxxxxxx:/pub/people/ke/packages/dsc: total 1851 -rw-r--r-- 1 suse suse 410809 Aug 14 16:07 dsc-2.0-0.i386.rpm -rw-r--r-- 1 suse suse 1470853 Aug 14 16:07 dsc-2.0-0.src.rpm /ftp@xxxxxxxxxxxx:/pub/people/ke/packages/gambc: total 3282 -rw-r--r-- 1 suse suse 618 Aug 14 15:58 COPYRIGHT -rw-r--r-- 1 suse suse 1172197 Aug 14 15:42 gambc-3.0-0.i386.rpm -rw-r--r-- 1 suse suse 2168030 Aug 14 15:43 gambc-3.0-0.src.rpm The binaries are build on SuSE Linux 6.2 (glibc 2.1). To run `dsc', you don't need `gambc', the separate Scheme system. But you'll need the `sp' libraries coming with jade. On SuSE Linux you'll find these libraries in the serie "sgm" as the package "sp_libs". Using the source RPMs (gambc-3.0-0.src.rpm and dsc-2.0-0.src.rpm) you should be able to compile the software easily on other RPM based distribution; to build dsc, please install gambc first. On demand I also can provide packages for SuSE Linux 6.0/6.1 (glibc 2.0); just drop me a line. Didier says: --------------------------------------------------- Thank you very much Karl. This will help the DSSSL community to do experimentations with the DSSSL transformation part. CALL FOR ACTION: If you use the dsc package to transform XML/SGML documents, please make post about your experience.
