Hi Matthias, Didier said: ------------------------------------------------------ > I was about to do an example to illustrate a multiple column layout when, > after checking in the primitives.h I discovered that OpenJade do not support > the column-set-model and column-set-sequence objects. > > Does anybody in this list as already done a mylti-colum layout? if yes, how > did you did it? > > Thanx, your answer could help me build better examples. > Matthias answer: ------------------------------------------------------ Some of the backends have nonstandard extensions that allow to specify multi-column output for simple-page-sequences. Didier says: ------------------------------------------------------ I know that. This is the RTF backend. I am interested, however, to listen to how people created multi column layouts, up to where they could do it. What they wanted to do but couldn't do it because of the implementation limitations. Also, interested about tricks people found to reach their goal (i.e. creating a multi-column layout). Did someone found a trick to do an asymmetric multi column layout? (Ex: in a two column layout, a column bigger than the other) regards DSSSList info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/dsssl/dssslist
