Hello folks, I'm using docbook and dsssl to prepare documentation for software. Naturally there is the question how to document UML diagrams. So far I have found I) UML Xchange, an SGML DTD, which appear to be written just before lunch break. But that doesn't mean it's unusable, actually I can't really judge at all. Only a few things look a but odd. II) UXF, an XML DTD, which seem to be under active development. Being XML it would require a little bit more work to get it working together with SGML documents via jade. Also the tag names are a bit longer (I can hear the author complain) but appear a bit more well thought out. III) XMI, which is XML and supported by some major players. This one has line size tag names and many content models of ANY. Hence it's probably more targeted as an exchange DTD (the name say so as well) only useful if the model is validated already. Who has experiences with UML documentation, opinions etc? Thanks /Jerry -- You can have it done fast, you can have it done cheap, and you can have it done well. --- But you can only have two of those at once.
