Its very hard to see what is wrong here, without seeing the .tex file. Trouble is, those .tex files are horribly hard to read. Its one of the reasons why I cannot face tackling JadeTeX.... still, point us at the file. maybe someone will be be able to find the problem. at the least, we can see if its a TeX setup problem.
