Subject: Inherited Characteristics From: Simon Pepping <spepping@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Sun, 12 Dec 1999 13:38:15 +0100 |
A simple page sequence has no applicable font characteristics, such as font family name. Still, when I specify it, jade makes a call to setFontFamilyName, and at least the TeX backend picks it up and jadetex then applies it to all children. Is this the correct behaviour? Generally, is every specification of an inherited characteristic valid, regardless of whether it is applicable to the FO for which it is specified, and should it be applied to the children for which it is relevant? This would make every FO act as a sequence FO. Or should such specifications be ignored? -- Simon Pepping email: spepping@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx DSSSList info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/dsssl/dssslist
