Jade and sideline flow object class?

I am wondering if the sideline feature is a working function in Jade when outputting to RTF, or TeX.  If anyone has sample code that would be extremely helpful, as I am very new to DSSSL.  Given the following (xml):
<!DOCTYPE SAMPLE [
<!ELEMENT PARAGRAPH (#PCDATA|REVISION)>
<!ELEMENT REVISION (#PCDATA)>
]>
<SAMPLE>
<PARAGRAPH>Some text <REVISION>some revised text</REVISION> more text...</PARAGRAPH>
</SAMPLE>
How would one create "revision-marks"?
