I am wondering if the problem was not me. After fiddling a bit with the stylesheet, the problem  disappeared. It seems that OJ 1.4 is tougher with not so good
constructs than OJ 1.3 was. That's good.
I have to make some tests with the older version.

It works with #\U-000D #\U-000A
