(dsssl) Converting a measure to string

Hello:

I heve been unable to find a function for the following task:

(using OpenJade and DSSSL for Docbook)

After making an operation with two measures, I get a 2345,46pt
result. But how can I convert it to a string?

number->string is not valid, as this figure is not a number 

So what?

I need it to output that result as string (I'm using the hacking the
people at Mandrake made for admonitions).

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
