Subject: [jats-list] fixed roman, fixed italic, fixed case (Archiving v3). From: "Newton, Simon - Edinburgh" <snewton@xxxxxxxxx> Date: Tue, 13 Sep 2011 15:46:27 +0100 |
Dear fellow subscribers, I notice that the element <roman> is documented for use to make mark up text in roman script "no matter what style the surrounding text takes on", whereas is documented explicitly as acting as a "toggle" to change italicisation depending on the context. My questions are: (a) Is there a mechanism to mark up "always italic"? (b) Is there a mechanism to mark up "fixed case" (i.e., hypothetically, "<fixed-case>pH</fixed-case>")? Many thanks - Simon. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------- Blackwell Publishing Limited is a private limited company registered in England with registered number 180277.
