Subject: [jats-list] Migrating from NLM 2.3 to JATS 1.0 From: "Blair, Julie" <Julie.Blair@xxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Fri, 28 Mar 2014 21:34:59 +0000 |
Just an informal survey: I'm wondering how many users are still using NLM 2.3 vs. those that have migrated to JATS 1.0 (or even NLM 3.0). If you have migrated, what benefits have you realized? Were your existing abstract and index databases willing to receive content in the new format, or were you forced to create down-transforms to accommodate them? If you haven't migrated, what are the mitigating factors for not doing so? Currently, we are still using 2.3, in part due to platform host provider, A&I databases, and in-house infrastructure.
