Hi Debbie,

Would it be okay to use @content-type on <role> to mark it as "CRediT
Taxonomy"? That was what I proposed to CRediT when I was asked for an
example:

<contrib><name
name-style="western"><surname>Smith</surname><given-names>John</given-names>
</name><role content-type="CRediT Taxonomy>Data Curation</role></contrib>

Perhaps we can add @role-type as an attribute on <role> in the future.

Evan

Kevin--

Thanks for the excellent suggestion on how to name contributor contributions.
Very good idea!

We should talk this up at JATS-Con as well.
JATS4R might also want to weigh in.

We have needed something like this for a while.

In the slightly longer term, it may take another attribute somewhere to
identify the taxonomy used.
