It looks like <annotation> can be within <mixed-citation>. We will look at it.

Hi Soichi,calls
If those citations are natural text notes, have you considered tagging them with <annotation>? This element allows p+ and may solve the line break problem.
Best regards,
Bruce

Hi,
Is it possible to include line breaks <br /> in a mixed citation? In the description of Archiving 3.0, it says,
Mixed Style Citations The C"b,EmixedC"b,B style is named because its content is what XML
thisC"b,Emixed contentC"b,B; a mixture of text and embedded elements. In
style, the citation is captured exactly as it was found in the print, complete with punctuation marks, line breaks, spaces, etc.

Is this possible under the JATS Publishing? If not, is there any alternate way to do this? This is requested because some older article contains natural text notes in citations.
