Subject: [2.6.3] : Anchors - use of NCName from Namespace Spec From: "G. Ken Holman" <gkholman@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Wed, 09 Sep 1998 20:26:34 -0400 |
2.6.3.2 - while NCName is defined in W3C XML Names both informally as "an XML Name minus the ":" and formally in the grammar, the abbreviation is not spelled out there (I agree it shouldn't have to be spelled out in this document); since it isn't where it belongs yet, could the abbreviation be spelled out here? I'm guessing it is "Namespace Constrained Name" or something along those lines. ............ Ken -- G.
