HI Joe, Thanx for your input, I'll try to follow your advise in my future messages. Regards Didier PH Martin mailto:martind@xxxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.netfolder.com -----Original Message----- From: owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of keshlam@xxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, January 29, 1999 10:25 AM To: xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: Announcement It's an interesting debate, but could I _please_ ask folks to either use shorter quotes from the previous discusison or to make them more visually distinct (indented, or at least >>> prefixed)? It's a real pain trying to separate out the new discussion from the thread leading up to it. (I have a personal near-religious belief that the extensive-quote-and-reply style of discussion tends to be more prone to defensiveness and less successful in actually communicating than most of the alternatives, and would rather see the quotes _drastically_ trimmed on the assumption that anyone who wants to see the prior context can hit the archive. But I recognize that I'm in the minority on this one.) ______________________________________ Joe Kesselman / IBM Research Unless stated otherwise, all opinions are solely those of the author.
