Subject: mime type and parsing output From: "Mattias Konradsson" <preacher@xxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Tue, 9 Feb 1999 10:02:52 +0100 |
ok, first I wanted to clarify that getting attributes through ancestor really does work, thanks to everyone who helped :) The problem was that an xml is parsed and each item is assigned an id attribute (through script), then each child is suppose to get an parent attribute equal to it's parent , the problem is of course how do you set the parent to the id when it's in the output tree? I solved this by running it through two stylesheets ,first assigning the id's and then adding the parent on the second run, but this doesnt seem like an elegant solution, any ideas? Secondly the xml that is output is interpreted as text or html. I'm guessing that's because for some reason linebreaks are inserted around the attributes, how do I force it to parse it as xml, activating the internal ie xml browser. I've tried modifying the contenttype in the html header to text/xml but that didn't work. ----------- Mattias Konradsson Icon medialab XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
