Subject: MSXSL - Implied Table Loops From: David RR Webber <Gnosis_@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Wed, 2 Jun 1999 17:01:47 -0400 |
I have the following structure in my HTML that can be repeated N-times. (cell is a short hand for all that <TR><TD> stuff). The problem is for N = 1 this works fine, and my script stuff that uses document.all.AA.value works fine, but then fails when N > 1. Also of course document.all.DD.length and document.all.DD[i].value work great on the single occurance. Is this a fundamental limitation? That you cannot have repeating <TABLE> blocks and still reference the sub-elements correctly, or is there a syntax 'trick' here that will fix this for me? Such as labelling the <DIV> block uniquely and then using that as a outer index? Thanks, DW. ================================================ <DIV class="TableBlk"> <TABLE> Cell <INPUT Name="AA" ......./> Cell <INPUT Name="BB" ......./> Cell <INPUT Name="BB" ......./> </TABLE> <TABLE> Cell <INPUT Name="CC" ......./> Cell <INPUT Name="DD" ......./> Cell <INPUT Name="DD" ......./> Cell <INPUT Name="DD" ......./> </TABLE> </DIV> <DIV class="TableBlk"> <TABLE> Cell <INPUT Name="AA" ......./> Cell <INPUT Name="BB" ......./> Cell <INPUT Name="BB" ......./> Cell <INPUT Name="BB" ......./> </TABLE> <TABLE> Cell <INPUT Name="CC" ......./> Cell <INPUT Name="DD" ......./> Cell <INPUT Name="DD" ......./> </TABLE> </DIV> XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
