Subject: Question about formatDate method From: "Eggenkamp, M.E.W." <M.E.W.Eggenkamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Wed, 14 Jul 1999 16:59:53 +0100 |
I'm trying to use the method formatDate but I can't make it work. I made this simple XML document: <?xml version="1.0"?> <?xml:stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="testformatDate.xsl"?> <DATE> 1999095 </DATE> and this stylesheet: <?xml version='1.0'?> <xsl:stylesheet xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/TR/WD-xsl"> <xsl:template match="/"> <HTML> <BODY> <xsl:eval> formatDate(new Date(Date.parse(this.text)).getVarDate(), "yyyyddm", "ddmmmyy") </xsl:eval> <xsl:eval> formatDate(this.nodeTypedValue, "yyyyddm", "ddmmmyy") </xsl:eval> </BODY> </HTML> </xsl:template> </xsl:stylesheet> I'm using IE5 and neither of the two methods seems to work. I would like to change the date from 1999095 to 5sep99. Can someone help me? Thanks, Marco Eggenkamp. XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
