The encoding
attribute seems to be required as part of <xsl:output method="html" />
when using XT. When using the following style sheet (on very vanilla
XML)
<xsl:stylesheet
xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/XSL/Transform/1.0">
<xsl:output method="html"/>
<xsl:template match="/">
<html>
<body>
hello
</body>
</html>
</xsl:template>
</xsl:stylesheet>
I receive the
following error
java.io.UnsupportedEncodingException
If I replace
<xsl:output method="html"/>
with
<xsl:output method="html" encoding="utf-8"/>
the transform works
fine.
The XSL spec does
not seem to indicate encoding as required. Is this a bug in XT or is the
encoding attribute required?
Thanks
