How to get xml tag in the xsl rule

Hi all,

        I need to get the xml tag into the xsl rule match. In the following
example, I want to have the tag which triggered the rule to be placed in the
name attribute.

<xsl:template match="/ | *">
<input type="text" name="NEED SOME WAY TO GET TAG HERE" value="{.}"
maxlength="50" size="50"></input>
</xsl:template>

if the tag was say LOGIN_NAME then I want the following output
<input type="text" name="LOGIN_NAME" value="{.}" maxlength="50"
size="50"></input>

      I will appreciate any help on this.
