> Is there any consistancy no > does it matter? not too much, the syntax isn't really xt xml-file xsl-file op-file a=b it is java some.thing.unmemorable=somethingelse some.java.class.name xml-file xsl-file op-file a=b which means you always end up using a shell script/batch file wrapper anyway and that can re-order the arguments as desired. Compared with the inconvience of the fact that I can't use any of my stylesheets using xt:node-set and xt:document on saxon without making purely cosmetic syntax changes, the external order of arguments is just a minor annoyance.
