Subject: XSL processing page breakes From: Eggler Simon <Simon.Eggler@xxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Mon, 15 May 2000 15:47:58 +0200 |
i've figured out by now that forcing page breakes with a XSL transfomations seems to be a problem. i've found a lot of discussions realted to this topic but none of them seemed to know the answer i am looking for. here's what i'd like to do: i'd like to transform a xml document into another specific xml format that consists of an unknown number of subpages. one page consists of 24x39 fixed with characters. dependent on the lenght of the xml content file, a new xml file specifying all subpages should be generated. how can i implement this with xml. i've read into xsl:fo's, which seems to be the solution to my problem, but i haven't got the slightest idea how to do it? any ideas, samples, suggestions? thanks a million simon XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
