Subject: calling template from FORM action From: Mats Norreby <mats.norreby@xxxxxxxxxx> Date: Thu, 22 Jun 2000 11:44:32 +0200 |
Hi, I would like to know how to call a template by using <FORM action="my_template">. I have an input field and a button, and I would like to apply a template(with a parameter, which is the value in the text field) when im pressing the button. So, what i want to call a template in the same xsl-file, not call a new xml-file. With best regards //Mats XSL-file: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?> <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"> <xsl:output encoding="iso-8859-1"/> <xsl:template match="/"> <HTML> <FORM action="call_my_template"> <INPUT TYPE = "TEXT"/> <INPUT TYPE = "SUBMIT"/> </FORM> </HTML> </xsl:template> <xsl:template name="my_template"> ....some code.... </xsl:template> </xsl:stylesheet> XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
