Yasser, in Xalan we are disabling the special href escaping for attributes by default for the next version of Xalan, so maybe this will be less of a problem. As far as disable-output-escaping not working with attributes, I guess this is a bug. > <img src="func("v")"> ?? Is this legal HTML? Can't you use single quotes? If you can, I don't think you'll need to do any bypassing of escaping. -scott "Yasser El-Zein" <xsl_list@xxxxxxxxxxx To: xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > cc: (bcc: Scott Boag/CAM/Lotus) Sent by: Subject: disable-output-escaping in text owner-xsl-list@mulber rytech.com 06/22/2000 10:22 AM Please respond to xsl-list Does someone have an explenation/solution for this behavior: Using Xalan with xsl:output set to: <xsl:output method="html/> this XSL: <img><xsl:attribute name="src"> <xsl:test disable-output-escaping="yes">func("v")</xsl:text> </xsl:attribute></img> and this XSL: <img><xsl:attribute name="src"> <xsl:test disable-output-escaping="no">func("v")</xsl:text> </xsl:attribute></img> both produces this html: <img src="func(%22v%22)"> I need to disable escaping and generate: <img src="func("v")"> this is okey with Dynamo, witch am using. The parser should disable-output-escaping when I tell it to do so. ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
