In a roundabout way I think I've found the answer to my question, and XSL is not the right place to do it. What I'm looking for is an XLink-type link with a "show" attribute of "embed", where somehow magic happens and the embedded XML is transformed properly through an appropriate stylesheet. I'd still be glad to hear of good solutions, though. -- Ken XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
