XSLT Streaming

In the company I am working for, we have just decided to drop XSLT due to
concerns (memory consumption and speed) in handling "big" XML files. I am
just wondering if there is any work being done for XSLT streaming and how
much time we would have to wait before any product with this feature shows
up.
