Subject: Does any XSL processor include original process instruction elem. in XSL output? From: "Tien Liu" <tienliu@xxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Fri, 01 Dec 2000 20:17:07 |
<xsl:template match="text()"><xsl:value-of select="."/></xsl:template> <xsl:template match="/"> <!--root rule-->
<wml> .....
After XSL processing from Apache XSL processor, the output is the following:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <wml> .....
The process instruction element <!DOCTYPE wml ...> is lost in the transformation and cause some vendor like Nokia wap simulator to fail but not in other vendor's emulator like phone.com's.
