Subject: [xsl] xsl:call-template & performance? From: "Hillyard, Matthew" <matthew.hillyard@xxxxxxxxxx> Date: Thu, 21 Dec 2000 09:59:09 -0000 |
Apart from the obvious benefits of modularity and maintainability, does anyone have any empirical (or anecdotal) evidence as to the relative performance of using xsl:call-templates against repetitive xsl:templates always written out in full in situ? I have a stylesheet which has just exceeded 4000 lines - so would prefer the xsl:call-template option - but performance is also a very big issue... Many thanks for any advice!
