Guess (not quite intuition:-) You are on win32, ie5 +. Solution: Set the encoding to greek in ie5 <sigh/> No idea why that works.. but it does! 8859-7 is never mentioned, input or output encoding. I don't have any idea whats causing it, other than xt not having iso-8859-1 as an output encoding, and still having 8859-1 as the encoding in the resulting html meta. I've had it since installing 5.5, about 6 others have reported it. I hope it will be resolved when catalog support is available for Saxon and I can shift from XT to Saxon.
