> > Is there anyone tried the XSLT Complier from Sun Microsystems? Hi Derek I had a brief look at it 2 or 3 weeks ago. It worked exactly as described in the documentation. It took me less than half an hour to get a working compiled stylesheet and a Java class to invoke it. The speed was unimpressive - no faster than Xalan 1 from the command line on my limited and unscientific test - but then it is only an alpha version and I would guess this will improve. It still doesn't implement the full XSLT 1.0 spec. but it's a lot closer than it was a few months back. IMHO it's one to keep an eye on over the next few months but it's not ready for serious use yet.
