RE: [xsl] How to use <a style="{font: 10pt arial}"> in XSL? Keep getting error.

The correct syntax for local CSS would be (long version):

<a style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial;"
href="/path/page.jsp">click</a>

(Note that versions of Netscape 4.x like the semi-colon
after the last CSS instruction on the style attribute)

The curly braces is the syntax for CSS in an internal
or external style sheet:

a {font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial;}

My guess is the two got confused ...?..
