M$. create a stylesheet to create a stylsheet. If you use namespace-alias stylesheet-prefix="out" then M$ change the result to xsl. Saxon Xalan don't. They keep out as the prefix. (example, p 236, 'the book') Thats what tripped me up over the weekend. Mike Kay was saying its 'fluffy' in the spec. Regards DaveP That isn't a "random change". The spec wasn't particularly clear over whether the default behaviour when using namespace alias is to use the original or aliased prefix. Some processors do one, some the other. But since the output is equivalent, why do you care?
