Subject: [xsl] XSLT Schema From: Ingo Schildmann <ingoschi@xxxxxx> Date: Fri, 18 May 2001 14:20:15 +0200 |
Hi, I'm wondering that apparently there hasn't been published yet a schema for XSLT that conforms to the schema recommmendation. (I know about http://www.webmethods.com/1999/XSL/Transform ) Could a XSLT processor benefit from such a schema in a way, that it doesn't have to check the syntax anymore, if the XML parser would validate the stylesheet with the schema? My knowledge about schemata is still small, but I can imagine that the XPath expressions und patterns still have to be parsed for syntax correctness in a second step. Cheers, Ingo -- Ingo Schildmann ingoschi@xxxxxx XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
