Subject: Re: [xsl] Testing for text before an element From: David Carlisle <davidc@xxxxxxxxx> Date: Tue, 17 Jul 2001 09:38:32 +0100 |
I'm using a <xsl:if test="not(child::*[1][self::para])"><LineBreak/></xsl:if> test. How do I modify this expression to evaluate false if text preceeds a <para> child? Thanks! change * to node() then you'll be testing the first node is self::para rather than the first element, so it'll be false for text.
