Micheal, Can openers are very tricky. You should make sure not to cut your fingers. Also you must make sure the contents are not passed their sell-by-date and that the label properly describes the contents. Reminds me of an old drovers trick of buying a whole load of cans and ripping off the labels then just opening them for the next meal and finding you have peaches and peas for dinner instead of meat ant two veg.
